I do not recommend this dealership’s service department.
I took my GMC truck in after my dog damaged a wiring harness. Even though I purchased an extended warranty through the dealership, they would not cover the repair. After keeping my truck for nearly two weeks just to provide an estimate, I was quoted between $5,000 and $8,000 for the repairs.
Wanting a second opinion, I took my truck to another repair shop. They diagnosed the issue and completed the repair for less than $500.

6-6-26 was my second visit for service for routine maintenance oil change. They were honest with approximately how long the wait would be since I did not make an appt. I was not in a hurry. Very friendly service guys and were not pushy as to adding on any extra services that may have been needed.
Everyone was great to deal with especially Ronald. He was very attentive to our wants/ needs. He answered every question he could and if he wasn’t sure of the answer he would find out the correct answer. There was no pressure or attitude. No haggling on pricing. It was the best car purchase we have ever made. We will be returning to Gunn Buick GMC in the future.
Service time was reasonable but beware the 3% surcharge if you want to pay by credit card. The surcharge is technically illegal according to Texas law. An appeals court made the law essentially unenforceable, and Gunn is likely 100% aware. Was not informed of the surcharge prior to paying with a credit card and had to redo the entire transaction. Called another dealership in town and confirmed they do not charge the additional fee for credit card payments. Will be going to them for service from now on. Aked to speak to sales manager, he was too busy.
They took great care of my truck, fixed it in a timely manner and worked with my insurance company and got it all worked out. They were done with the work earlier than estimated and it was done right. It now runs great!! A shout out to Alberio and Kristen for taking such good care of me and my truck. I highly recommend Gunn Buick GMC and their service dept. Well done!!!
I bought a truck three months ago and it's already broken down twice. I paid $980 to fix it. I think their cars aren't in very good condition, be careful.

Kristen Brown had the service work performed in a timely manner. She along with the service technician had me in and out quickly. The one issue with the blinker control was explained clearly and corrected along with the other services. It is a pleasure to have full confidence in her ability to make sure that my Acadia is taken proper care of.

I have visited this dealership for an oil change in the past and experienced a lengthy wait of 2.5 hours, despite being one of the first customers in the morning. This was surprising, as I expected the process to take a maximum of 45 minutes, even without an appointment. The service was great! Was having issues with my Sierra starting. Turns out it was a bad battery. So they replaced the battery and while my truck was there I had them change the oil. They had me fixed up and on the road in a short time.
Prompt service, good communication and exceeded expectations. Very polite and made sure everything was taken care of.
Friendly staff, straight forward processing, competitive pricing. Had a all around great experience with the purchase of my new truck.

Took my car here for service and will NEVER take my car back her again, they have lost my business. I have only taken my car to them for service since I got it in 2021 and you would think that their technicians and service advisors would look at your service record before just randomly recommending services that are not needed. Didn’t pay attention to detail when working on my car. I have grease and hand prints all over my steering wheel. They didn’t change the oil change sticker, didn’t reach back out to me when I planed on spending a min of $1,500 and I haven’t heard anything yet. Didn’t have a loaner to give to me and I’m trying to spend money with the business. I don’t like the Texas customer service. I feel like some bum on the street and not someone who has a $60-70k truck.
Service department is worthless. Bought a certified pre-owned from Austin (great salesman) but the service side sucks.
Truck had a shack in the steering and a hard shift going on. I called and was told to bring it in and would follow the warranty on the truck to see what steps needed.
First step, drain transmission and refill with special fluid. That was completed.
Second step, drive for 500 miles to see if problems still persisted. They did.

Stay far away from theses guys! Went in for a bulb out on the dash and waited 5 hours (with an appointment) watching them trying to up sell everyone as I waited. After prompting Christa to get some answers she came back with a lame explanation that included replacing the instrument panel at my expense before they could continue on their chart. Really. Service on my car was excellent, even got a car wash. Just one little issue, paper floor mat was removed prior to car wash and dirty greasy shoe marks were left on my ivory mats. Ugh! Attendant insisted it was just water, but to this day, the grease marks are still there.
Salesman seemed nice but it turns out he completely lied to use bout the navigation system and said it should automatically update and it would be free.
